CBP Christmas Toy Drive

CBP will be collecting toys for 3 major
Charities in the Charleston area this year and would like to set up one or more boxes at some of the members offices so that the assn can help them in supporting these charities with gifts for the children.

The 3 charities are:
MUSC CHILDRENS HOSPITAL
MY SISTER'S HOUSE  (shelter for abused women)
CALLEN-LACEY SHELTER (shelter for abused children)

If your office will accept a box for collection of toys for the childrenplease contact Mike Maillard (579-6525) and they will bring an empty wrapped collection box to your office.   

They have already distributed boxes to the terminals for collection as well as the custom house.

There will be recognition of member participation and he is going to try and have it posted to CBP website also.

CBP Blood Drive (Update)

CBP sponsored Blood Drive is scheduled for Thursday, October 30 from 0900-1400 at the Custom House.  Blood mobile will be located in the parking lot.

In order to keep everyone from waiting in line, I am scheduling appointments beginning at 0900.  Appointments will be scheduled every 15 minutes during the time period with the last appointment at 1:45 pm.  Please email me or call me with your preferred time.

CBP Blood Drive

CBP, Charleston would like to sponsor a blood drive for the American Red Cross.  In order to have the blood bank set up an on-site blood drive at the U.S. Customhouse, we need to ensure a certain amount of donations.  If you are interested in participating in the blood drive, please send an e-mail to Chief Sullivan at regina.sullivan@dhs.gov.
